The Boomers and Advertising
AdAge Daily had an interesting article today on baby boomers and how they feel “neglected and misrepresented” by the advertising, media and entertainment industry. Think of that the next time you hear a young, trendy voice advising you how to invest. I know, I know. . . it’s the promise that youth represents. But I still would like to hear a the voice of a peer on ads aimed at boomers. Perhaps a better connection with the voice used for the ads would improve our “brand loyalty.”
